There was nothing like Atta-Girl when I retired and after seeing your website, I
realized it was the perfect gift for a long overdue recognition ceremony.
While presenting her "awards" of 22 years of faithful service to her family, friends,
and country; I also got to tell her story to our sons (they remembered a lot of it)
and our grandchildren (who knew very little of it). She sat, remembered, and cried.
Our boys sat and nodded. Our daughter-in-law and grandkids sat in amazement.
After the "ceremony" both of our grandaughters and our grandson said they always
knew Grandma was special, they just didn't know how special until then.
I later ask Betty how she felt. She said she was full of amazement and pride for
what she had done and full of gratitude for having someone recognize it.
Thanks for helping to create a very special event. One we'll remember for the rest
of our lives. I could have given her jewelry that cost ten times as much, but your
items meant more to her.

I enjoy the idea of being recognized for my long years of service. First by being the
child of a career Navy man, and second as a spouse. There seem to be no rewards
for those left behind, or any kind of gracious appreciation. I love the certificate idea.
